Roll in a ball

Ceratocanthus aeneus, a small member (5 mm - 0.02 feet) of Scavenger Scarab Beetles can shrink itself even smaller when threatened by curling itself up into a near perfect ball.

Its ecology is largely unknown but it lives in Monteverde cloud forest of Costa Rica.
